Quite a lot has happened since the last update.

It was a fun experience.
I am working diligently on new material for an album that has the working title of: sentinel.
I've been networking with producers on the merit of sheer luck — these people are talented and happen to be some of the country's best.
Currently, the track Frozen Autumn is being mixed and mastered by one the guys behind a national pop star, and I hope to release it as part of something through which I could get signed to a major label, and of course to figure out all the legal & copyright issues.
Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up, because this industry is merciless, so whatever happens, happens.
I have other paths available, and I don't plan to ever stop making music; I'll keep doing my thing, and perhaps someday, if I make something noteworthy, I'll receive recognition.
